Here’s Everything That Followed After Zaheer Khan Got Hitched To Sagarika Ghatge!

Following the bandwagon of actresses getting married to sportsmen, the B-town actor Sagarika Ghatge got hitched to the former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan. Exactly 7 months after their engagement ceremony, the couple took their wedding vows.

Coming from totally different religious backgrounds, these lovebirds decided to get married in an intimate register marriage ceremony last week.

While Zaheer looked his stunning self in a Raghavendra Rathore kurta, Sagarika grabbed all the eyeballs in a classic red Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree paired with a silver choker set!

Expressing her excitement, Sagarika Ghatge’s BFF and Chak De! India co-star, Vidya Malvade took to her Twitter account and posted a picture of the bride posing in her heavy wedding jewellery.

Cocktail Party:

The wedding ceremony was followed by a cocktail party in the evening held at St Regis in Mumbai. Sagarika looked radiant in a pastel, embroidered lehenga paired with silver jewellery, while Zaheer opted for a black velvet bandhgala.

The couple celebrated their Mehendi ceremony on the Sunday night and it was again a star studded affair. For her Mehendi night, Sagarika wore a gorgeous sea-green lehenga by Anita Dongre, while Zaheer looked handsome in a royal blue kurta paired with a Nehru jacket.

Recently, the duo also shot for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Bride. Only one picture from their shoot is out yet, but from the looks of it, the couple looks completely regal. They will be featured in the magazine’s upcoming ‘Just Married’ issue.
