3 Simple Hacks For a Kick-Ass Pre-Wedding Shoot – From One Of Mumbai’s Top Photographers!

Are you sick of looking at pre-wedding shoots that are oh-so-cliche? We feel you! But guess what – we’ve got your fix.

With wedding season coming up, tons of couples out there are looking for the perfect way to shoot their pre-wedding. So of course, we had to get on this. We spoke with Romesh Dhamija, one of Mumbai’s top photographers and he was happy to share some pre-wedding photography secrets that’ll guarantee you a perfect photo album. Check them out:

Shoot location:

No matter where you are shooting, make sure that you are comfortable with your surroundings. Choose one that genuinely makes you happy. Of course, you have to keep things like lighting, space, etc in mind. If it’s a public location, you also have to consider when you can find it relatively empty! You don’t want to shoot in a crowded area (unless your pre-wedding shoot theme calls for it).

Styling:

Look for clothes that represent who you are as a person/couple. Go with something that is generally your choice of style.
Make sure you’re comfortable with the clothing!
Example: don’t wear an off-shoulder if you’re uncomfortable with it. And don’t wear a saree if you don’t think you can handle it through all the shooting hours.

Chemistry:

No photographer can force you to look like you’re in love! That’s just something that comes naturally. 😀  Tell each other you love them, get lost in each other’s words, just do your own couple-thing. And leave the rest to your wedding photographer.
