Vaibhav & Sapna Lucknow : We are in love with Sapna who chose a dusty lilac lehenga and bold smokey makeup for her wedding!

Sapna and Vaibhav tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Lucknow. Sapna’s choice of wearing a dusty lilac lehenga and smokey makeup for her wedding is out of the box and lest we forget, fantastic! Even for the pheras she ditched the saree and opted for a magenta gharara instead!

The Bride Says..

Vaibhav and I used to reside in Delhi for work purposes. I just stumbled upon his wedding ID on a matrimonial portal and sent him a request randomly I guess and then we started talking. After talking to each other for 4-5 days we decided to meet at Raasta. I guess there was no such Eureka moment but then we kept on meeting on daily basis and I guess the ease with which we were able to communicate and take out time for each other in our busy schedules without throwing any tantrums added to our decision of getting married to each other.

We both are from creative fields – Vaibhav comes from a Media background and is a content guy whereas I am a Product designer, we like to travel, explore cuisines and can watch Netflix for hours. I guess this sort of comfort lead us to believe that we should take things further.

The Wedding Planning..

Wedding planning was one heck of a task since I am not from Lucknow. We had to totally rely on internet/Instagram for the decor.

Regarding rest of the vendors I had personally gone and met each one of them multiple times to get things finalized be it jewelry or my wedding outfit. Everything was in the air and left to our imaginations  and we got the complete picture of all the things on the wedding day itself including my wedding look.

Vaibhav and I had to believe in the choices we had made in choosing vendors and its upto to the vendors to prove us right. We have super supporting and helpful families that helped us manage the wedding!
