Tushar & Jagruti Mumbai : Jagruti and Tushar’s stunning wedding will make your jaws drop!

College sweethearts Jagruti and Tushar recently tied the knot in Mumbai. They met each other almost a decade ago. From classmates to soulmates, it has been a long journey for both!

The Love Story…

Jagruti and Tushar’s quintessential love story has its own quirks. Tushar reached out to Jagruti and asked for her phone number for another friend. Over the period of time they became closer and closer. Casual chats graduated into unending phone calls and they seemed to be inseparable. Having turned from classmates to friends and finally best friends, we got along like a house on fire! Tushar realised he is falling head over heels in love with Jagruti. Finally after a few months he mustered some courage and confessed his love for Jagruti. In the coming months Jagruti and Tushar survived their share of hurdles to emerge stronger. Jagruti began believing in the strength of their relationship and realised she too has fallen in love with Tushar! And thus began a beautiful relationship and a stronger friendship.

The Wedding Festivities

The Guptas and the Kapadias began the celebrations last year with an intimate engagement in Mumbai, followed by a dreamy pre-wedding shoot in New York and a fairy tale wedding earlier this year!

The Mehndi Ceremony

Jagruti and Tushar’s wedding ceremonies kickstarted with a fun mehendi ceremony. The theme for the day was ‘splash of colours’ and decor did justice to the theme! Jagruti sat under a bright coral-pink-purple canopy while the entire area was decorated with  beautiful dreamcatchers and bright sunflowers everywhere. Jagruti wore a red choli with a multicoloured lehenga for her mehendi ceremony. Tushar on the other hand chose a salmon kurta with a white Nehru jacket.

The Cocktail Party

The mehendi morning was followed by an evening full of dance and jazz! Just before the sangeet ceremony Tushar surprised Jagruti with a grand proposal. They then hopped into the ballroom for a Bollywood themed cocktail party. The decor was in shades of crimson red, bronze and gold. Jagruti was spotted in a deep plum gown with intricate golden work. Have no doubt, she looked absolutely stunning!

The Wedding

Jagruti and Tushar’s wedding was traditional with hints of contemporary. Shades of red adorned the venue. They had outdoor sundowner pheras beneath a gorgeous floral canopy mandap with a breezy beach-view.

The reception was themed to be an elegant affair with a pink cherry blossom theme with a black-tie dress code. An elaborate entrance, fairy lights, elegant stage decor, hanging chandeliers, piping lights and abstract decor items lit-up the huge lawn and created that perfect look and feel of a beautiful night.
