Pre-Wedding Shoot in Pushkar, Rajasthan with a Magical Desert Charm
“This is love: to fly towards a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment; First to let go of life and then finally, to take a step without feet.”
How beautifully the infamous Rumi managed to contain a multitude of emotions in a handful of words. And that’s exactly what Varanjot and Ankit’s enchanting pre-wedding shoot in the Pushkar deserts shows is. The clear blue skies, followed by the setting sun amongst warm, golden sand and a calming, serene vibe created quite the mood for the lovebirds as well as the photographer, Avnish Dhoundiya.
“What you seek is seeking you” is a quote by Rumi which constantly occupied my mind during this shoot. The sunset and the music filled my heart, photography lifted my energy and the traveling filled my soul. This has undoubtedly been the best shoot ever. A shoot I connected with; a shoot that made me really glad with myself, my life and my work.” – Avnish Dhoundiya
Rajasthani folk music, desert sand, the golden sunset, camels and a couple who can make poetic description of the word ‘love’ fall into shame. This is what these stunning pictures by Avnish Dhoundhiya are all about! One look at them and you’d be lost in the deserts yourself.
About the photographer
“It was after almost three years of my professional experience as an Interior Visualizer that I decided to leave my settled life to my passion of photography. Today, I feel more content with my work. Not confided in the wall, but a mind free of thoughts and a life full of experiments. I see myself as an artistic storyteller first and foremost. I use my camera to capture the story of your wedding. You’re not going to read about any awards, badges, or “top 10 lists” because what matters is you’re in love with the work that you see and are ready to trust me entirely to do what I do. I absolutely love to travel the world taking photos of beautiful, unique weddings for amazing people. I’m able to see so much of the world thanks to being a wedding photographer.” – Avnish Doundhiya
